The Story
Long ago, there stood a village in a faraway land. The village was a small one, harboring a very closed-knit, happy community. They were surrounded by towering mountains and calming streams. Their life was peaceful and quiet. That is until the plague came.
The villagers who have been exposed to this monstrous disease first lost feeling of their body. Then, their throats would swell until the found it impossible to breathe. Sadly, a number of the community have fallen ill to this sickness.
However, an apothecary came along, and noticing the villagers were not well, he set out for the outskirts of town to find ingredients for the cure. Fortunately, he was able to continue healing the infected and reinfected, and after the 9th tiring day, he realized that something had to be done about the source. So he set out once more and found that the well located in the middle of the village would provide him parched water for his throat in place of his own water reserve. As he was collecting water in the dead of night, he couldn’t help but notice things floating in the water. Finding this to be quite peculiar, he took the basket and ran often to his lodging to find that the water was black with dirt, bugs, and anything else one could imagine. That is when the apothecary put two and two together: the lack of clean water was the result of the disease.
He swiftly worked to inform the village head to clean the water in which the village head said was impossible as the well is attached the river. Thinking outside the box, the apothecary developed a filtration system, but needed a way to store clean water. H consulted the village head once more, asking her if there was any way to store clean water. The village head then decided to commission the village’s glass blower to make a bottle that displayed the clean, drinkable water.
That was when the h2O was born.
